Lately.

Lately life is ....well......boring ...but hectic at the same time.  Boring in the sense I'm working a sucky shift ....ALL.THE.TIME.....and hectic in the sense when I do finally get out ........all my time is running around and trying to catch up my ETSY orders.  Holiday time on ETSY  is insane! So needless to say I'm not posting as often.  Frankly I feel a bit relieves to not be blogging so much because right now with my work schedule I really need to just focus on my kids and getting everything settled. 

We did however go on a playdate with another ATL mama which was really fun.  It's been ...well.....FOREVER....since we've hung out with someone else with babies so that was really nice to have some "Mom Time".  It feel really good to finally get out and make some friends here :)

Other than that not much going on ......I can't promise much in the way of blogging right now so here are a few pics recently to hold you over ....yes many days we still get to wear short sleeves. So Im loving the GA weather!

Printable Fall Cupcake Toppers

Lately I've been in a DIY printing frenzy..........and ever since my post yesterday .....I'm feeling kinda generous so here is another fall printable! I don't know anyone who doesn't love CUPCAKE TOPPERS!!

The download is an 8" x 10" file . For best results print on 8.5" x 11" cardstock or matte photo paper.  Each square is 2.07 inches and you cut out with a 2" scalloped, square or circle punch.....These will make the perfect addition to your Thanksgiving dessert table!

An Update - Fall Decorating - and a PRINTABLE

Once again I've been MIA with no explanation .....but really it's because I'm super busy with my ETSY shop.  I'm basically overloaded with orders everyday trying to get them all out.  In addition......my baby girl was in the hospital again....with another cursed UTI.  Any one who knows us knows that my little princess has gotten recurring UTIs for awhile now and we can't seem to figure out why..but were taking her to a specialist very soon and hopefully we will get some answers.  a 5 year old should not have to deal with such a painful thing.  This time of year also marks the anniversary of my daddy's death......October 10th to be exact.  4 years later it still feels surreal.....but I get through it every year.   Oh , and the icing on the cake......

We got into another car accident! I got whiplash pretty bad............but luckily no one was seriously injured.  Now I'm just dealing with all the frustration of trying to get the insurance claim handled and getting my car fixed. 

Because of all this I've decided to extend the Barbie Giveaway till this Friday ....so ladies you still have lots of time to ENTER!!!!!!!!!

As you also know this is our first fall in Georgia.....and man to I love this weather.  Pumpkin patch visits up north were almost a dreadful thing because it gets so cold.  It's been in the 70's-80's here so needless to say I'm in heaven.  Because of this I'm in full on holiday decorating mood .......and I'm especially obsessed with plum colors for fall.  Besides ...how can you not love adding such a girly color into your decor......Here are just a few tablescapes I found (Thank you pinterest/google) ......Hopefully mine will turn out as nice.....

and just because I'm feeling generous I've decided to share this FREE FALL PRINTABLE I whipped up.  Just an FYI this is for an 8" x 10" frame ...ENJOY LADIES!

Here's how to print 8" x 10" photos on 8.5" x 11" paper using an HP Photosmart 6510 e-All-in-One. The process is similar on other Photosmart All-in-Ones.  Any printer is pretty much the same too ...just go to File>Print>Select Full Page Photo.

1.Select Preview on the printer's home screen.
2.Select Layout. You will be shown several options for image size and paper size.
3.Select 8" x 10" on 8.5" x 11".
4.Select Print.

Your print will be centered on the 8.5" x 11" paper, making it necessary to trim the four sides surrounding the image. When you trim the edges its easiest with a paper cutter or an exacto knife and rulers....not using scissors. I use Matte Photo paper when I print wall art as I think it comes out best !!!



Barbie Princess & the Pop Star [Review & Giveaway]

Hey all you girl mamas out there! I'm sure by now your daughters have been bugging you for the latest movie in the Barbie series....."Barbie, Princess and the Popstar"...like mine has......so have I got a great giveaway for you today!

Barbie Princess and the Popstar stars princess Tori who has dreams of being a famous singer like her favorite popstar Keira, and Keira who wishes she has more free time away fom popstar life to focus on her main passion: songwriting!  By chance....the 2 girls meet and decide to switch places each wanting to become the other for a day :) 

If you wanna know more you'll just have to go out and get it yourself! The DVD happened to come out on Sofia's birthday 9/11......but I went to 3 different Targets and all were sold out the first day! But I was able to pick her up a copy a few days later but I'm waiting until her party this weekend to give it to her!

So recently, I was contacted to host a Review/Giveaway and I was so excited because as a little girl .......Barbie was NO DOUBT my favorite toy.  My Dad KNEW on Christmas and birthdays ...Barbie was the way to go......so I was always a happy little girl!  Now, as my own 5 year old is becoming a barbie lover ...I get to relive my childhood all over again :)

As with all the Barbie movies that have come before.....they have put out a fabulous line of dolls as accompanying each movie We had the privledge of reviewing not one...but BOTH of these lovely dolls....



.....and let me tell you Barbie sure has come a long way since I was a kid.  They're definitely alot more flexible and each of these dolls transforms with a twist of their hair and dress ....from princess....to popstar.  The magic necklaces also each place a song from the movie when pushed.
