White Wine Chicken Turkey Chili - {RECIPE}

4 cups of water
1 cup White Cooking Wine
1 tsp vegetable oil.
1 lb. Cooked Ground Turkey
3-4 cups Shredded Chicken Breast
1/2 cup finely chopped Green Onion
1 medium white onion finely chopped
1 small green pepper finely chopped
2 cans Stewed Tomatoes
2 cans White Cannelini Beans
2 Bay Leaves
2 packages McCormick White Chicken Chili Seasoning
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Sour Cream

Add your tsp of oil to a large saucepan and brown your ground turkey on medium heat until cooked.  While that is cooking either saute or boil your chicken breast...however you prefer.  It helps though if you cook this ahead of time and have it cooled and shredded already.

Once your ground turkey is cooked add the shredded chicken to the same pot and your 4 cups of water.  In a large bowl use your hands to crush your stewed tomatoes.  Lucky for me this lil' lady was more than willing to do the dirty work! (She thinks playing 'Cooking Mama' on her DSi makes her a bonafide chef now...heheh)

Once the tomatoes are crushed add them to the pot as well as your green & white onions, green peppers, & bay leaves.  I also threw in 4 chopped Recao Leaves and 4 chopped Dominican Sweet Peppers but those are optional becuase you can only find them in Latino Supermarkets. In case you're wondering this is how they look ....

Next add the white cooking wine and the 2 packages of McCormick White Chicken Chili Seasoning.  If you can't find the white seasoning you can use regular chili seasoning. Then add a small amount of adobo to taste.

Allow chili to cook on medium heat for at least 2-3 hours.  Chili will boil down and thicken.  Once finished top with sour cream, cheddar cheese and a few green onions.......and ENJOY!!!!!!!!
