Sunshine ..FINALLY!

Anyone who lives in or around the Tri-State are knows we have had one hell of a winter. Generally it gets very cold but not too much know but this year quickly became known as "SNOW-POCALYPSE"! On top of all the snow, the cold seemed to linger up until this week! Can you believe that .....freezing cold and rain...in MAY?!?!?!

Well this week we finally got some 80 degree weather and sunshine!  :::pinches self to see if this is a dream:::  So.........You know I had to get my babies outside.  It was also my little guy's first time in flip flops.....but definitely a not-so-great idea since he was falling all over the place.

Oh and beware when trying to teach your 3 yr old good sportsmanship for the first time......

What I failed to photograph was my sweet baby angel then throwing the bat like a maniac and stomping away .........tears ensued, followed by the words, "I will never hit the ball....I dont like baseball!"  And my words of, "Try again" meant nothing to her

The funniest thing was that all I had to do is say, "Look Sofia a baby squirrel!"  and she forgot all about the baseball incident and ran off to look for the squirrel!  Gotta love 3-yr olds!

MarbleSpark Personalized Book - [Review and Giveaway]

I've never seen a book personalized to this extent.   The order form is so simple and you even get to preview the entire book before submitting it just to make sure its perfect!  This book has quickly became one of Sofia's favorites and is now our "go-to" bedtime book each night!  Here are just a few of hers and my favorite features from her book

....and she cracks up hysterically at this part that says "put ants in his pants"!  You can also see at the bottom as you read along in each page it builds your name at the bottom and each page also features tons of pics of things beginning with that specific letter!



You even get to feature your child's nickname which gives an extra personal touch!



At the end of the book they get to sign their name on the line........



......and go back to each country the book visited and find their letters in their name!

Did anyone miss me...at all?

In case any of you who actually read my blog were wondering.....No I'm not dead and I haven't blogging. I've just taken a bit of a much needed hiatus... if you will. My little bloggy break  was due partly to the fact that I caught 2 viruses and a bacterial infection which has made me feel like absolute HELL! Luckily I'm getting over that now.

I also feel like I have nooooooooo inspiration at all to blog.  Lately, every time I do try to blog, I go from having 50 blog post ideas in my head down to 0 within minutes. Also, Alberto and I have been going through some pretty serious issues in our household and I feel like somethings I do need to keep private.  Rather that blogging about my misery I would rather not say anything at all in this case. But don't worry... I hope things will be back to normal soon.   I also have 3 or 4 review/giveaways that I've been working on and never seem to find the time to finish and post them (which I promise I will.......hopefully).
