Hells yeah!!! Well maybe only for a bit because I wouldn't have my babies....but I do miss having no bills and no work....then again I don't miss being a broke teenager!

2. If a genie appeared and granted you two wishes, what would they be? (And, no saying "more wishes".)

To be a wife and not just a fiance (ahem for the past 6 yrs).....and some financial freedom for my family!

3. What kids show do you secretly like?

Pepsi hands down ....and some Southern Sweet Tea,,YUUMMMMMMMM!

Five Question Friday #5

1. What was the first car you owned?

'86 Chevy Nova  and pardon my french but that car was a piece of shit and not even close to being worth the $800 I paid my neighbor for it.  Not to mention that it broke down and was un-repairable 2 months after I got it!

2. What song are you embarrassed to know the lyrics to?

Ha! ...there's a few......Remeber Vanilla Ice and "Ice Ice Baby"...yep I still know that entire song.......also "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-A-Lot.  Oh an pretty much every song from every show and commercial on Noggin since my 2 yr. old loves that channel!

3. Have you ever had stitches?

Ummmmm hell yeah!  My lil 110 lb. frame pushed a baby out!! And the fact that my daughter had a huge head felt like someone place a nuclear bomb inside my lady parts!

4. What was your first job?

Ugh ....it was at Valerios Pizza & Restaurant in Erie, PA.  My brother worked there first and I started there at 15 making pizzas....disgusting because no matter how much I showered I would smell like onions and toppings all the time......it was like that stuff was embedded in my skin or something ....SO GROSS!! I could never work in food service again after that!

5. Who is your favorite Sesame Street character?

I gonna go with Abelardo from the Spanish Sesame Street (Plaza Sesamo) only because he is so colorful and I love that!!!!  And Abby Cadabby too!!! This is Abelardo for anyone who doesn't know ...hes pretty much Big Bird....on the Spanish Sesame Street.

Sweet Day Off

Yesterday I was off work all day and I sent the kids to daycare anyways (if not ...it really wouldn't be a "day off").  My fiance went to work....so I had a day off all to myself.

The first half of my day was spent window shopping.  I found some great clearance ribbons at AC Moore and I'm already working on some new bows and headbands!!!!  I also hit up some awesome stores like Century 21 and Marshalls.  I went into the Bergen Mall to the Gap outlet and to Children's Place and it's a good thing i can't go on a shopping spree right now because I would've went nuts there!!!!

While I was in Marshalls I found these that I thought were cute....normally I hate character shoes (my daughter has a pair of Dora shoes which I despise) but these (maybe cuz they're sketcher) I liked. Don't ask me why and feel free to tell me if you think they're hideous..lol!  They are crib shoes for my lil  guy but i thought my look cute with some jeans and a tee ...I dunno


 

I also found these little Nike Dunks which Im head over heels for but they only had a size 4 so my son wouldn't even be able to wear them till next year.....Hence the reason I'm debating purchasing these too.

 

I couldn't end my trip getting nothing though so I did find a great deal in Daffy's on these gladiator sandals I got for my baby girl .....too bad she was in some crazy mood when I picked her up and wouldn't let me try them on her! 

 

The rest of my day off was spent cleaning the hell out of my disaster which I call home and scrubbing all the juice stains my daughter has managed to cover my carpet in .......Happy Monday!

Birthday Bow

Saturday my daughter had a birthday party to go to so I made her this cute Ice Cream Cone Bow with pink, white and brown.  Check out the post on my Fifi's Closet Blog to see it up close.

SO RUDE

I'm uber upset right now because since I havn't really been able to work on my website i was going to use my blog as a make shift site for now and I wanted to post some new bows I was working on.  Well I made a gorgeous white pinwheel bow with pink brown and red accents and a strawberry in the middle and I left it on my desk at work.  What do ya know....someone stole it off my desk yesterday! How rude!

1. What words do you use on your blog/online that you don't use in real life?

DF, DD, IMO......mainly the abbreviations of course

2. Do you still write checks?

Yes only when I have to though because DF is obsessed with check writing...no clue why when you can pay everything online instantly but whatever.

3. Who was your favorite President and why?

Clinton ....only because being raised in a single home and having seen my mother struggle ....while he was in office my mom worked in politics and was the most prosperous she has ever been .....as soon as BUSH came into office everything went downhill from there.  Generally I don't like to talk about politics on my blog either but just sayin that my family has had a very hard time since he came into office.  hoping that things will turn around within a few years.

4. Are you a yeller?

Yes I am especially when I feel backed into a corner I will attack!

5. Have you ever dumpster dived?

Officially Creeped Out

Generally I don't like to talk about my job because...well....it irritates me but now I have to.  So you know when you go to a website and you see "click to chat with a live rep, " Well I am that live rep for a very large company. 

Long story short our REAL first and last names display to customers which I have always expressed my discomfort with this., especially being in customer service people get angry with you constantly.  Well today right as I was ending a CHAT with a customer he said to me "you live in XXXX, NJ right?" and closed the CHAT. 

What really creeps me out is that my info is publically listed and he knows my first and last name and town and probably address now.  We had a great CHAT he wasn't angry ....but people out there are nuts so ya never know. 

This message goes out to you Creepy McCreepster: If you have somehow located my blog as well and are reading this ....Don't forget I know your info too so please do not even think about coming near my family. and pardon my French (sorry this is not G rated) but when it comes to my babies, "DONT FUCK WITH MAMA BEAR!"

About myself - To anyone who has never been on my blog....Please excuse it's lame appearance right now as I switched back to a basic style while it's makeover is in progress.  Anywho....Im a 26y/o mama of 2 and stepmama of 2 as well.  I have been blogging since 2007 when my princess came into this world but only recently after I had my son did I get more into it.  I also have been working on my bow business "Fifi's Closet" for a little over a year now but it's been a work in progress. I love fashion, shopping (this is my addiction), music, cooking and have recently started loving photography but need a new camera.  I also love to sew but ...need a machine (notice a pattern!) I love reading other's blogs and love to share a little bit about our life in my blog.  Hope you enjoy!!!

3 Months Update (Tico)

My chunky mono (monkey) is officially at the 3 month mark today so I would just like to brag a bit on my boy:

• My boy is almost 15 lbs, Im guessing since he eats like a piggie as you will see below.  Im not sure of his height but i will find out in may at his 4 month checkup.
• He eats formula with baby cereal and baby 1st foods mixed in his bottles.  Please don't give me negative comments as this is a norm in our culture so respect my choices as his mama...TIA.
• Antonio also can eat from a spoon and has never had the "pushing out" reflex
• Boys (IMO) are so much more calm than girls as he never cries ...EVER.....only to eat.  But never fussy.
• He is almost able to roll over and will not stay still on his back.  He just can quit go all the way yet so he stays on his side..LOL.
• Coos constantly to Mommy, Daddy, and big Sis and is constantly giving belly laughs!
• Bathtime is the favorite time...aside from eating of course (hehe)....and he is a typical boy because everytime Mommy washes his "man goods,"  he gets...ummm.......how should I say..... "excited!"

I love watching this little guy grow and sometimes I just can't stop staring at him.  It really is true how you don't have to divide your love with each child it just keeps growing bigger and bigger.  I do get sad sometimes when DF says this is his las since there are 4 total ....but I think maybe after we have a house and finances are bit more settled i can squeeze one or two more out of him ....Hopefully that won't be too many years in the future!

31 Months Update (Fifi)

I can't go around posting on Tico and not give my princess her time in the spotlight!  Today my girl is 31 months old....so just a month past 2 1/2 and my how time flies.  Seems like yesterday I saw that angel face for the first time.  I love how mush of a little lady she has become .....even when she's not so "ladylike."  Some recent news about my girl:

• Her doc says she has the vocabulary of a 5 or 6 year old and let's face it....That kid won't shut up.  She is absolutely a clown.  She describes things as "Amazing, Fabulous, & Delicious!"  So funny!
• She is absolutely in awe of her Daddy's motorcycle and begs and begs for him to take her for a ride even though he never would ....at least she gets to sit on it.
• When I pick her up at nursery school I swear she spots me from a mile away because as soon as I pull in I hear her squeeling "My Mommy is here!" and I see her little body jumping up and down....and seriously shes like 1000 feet away!
• Her favorite lines to get out of bed are, "I need to go to the beach" and "This is really the last time I'm going to go kiss Daddy"
• Fifi knows her entire alphabet and loves pointing out the letter S for Sofia.  Everywhere we go including at every stop sign I hear "There's my letter Mama!"
• She counts from 1-10 in Spanish and 1-17 in English....with the exception of her invention "eleventeen".
• Recently she got sick and has lost alot of weight to the point where people have been pointing fingers.  She has always been a tiny little thing but now is super skinny so were are going backwards and putting her back on the bottle.  The reason being is that we make her bottle we cereal mixed in and baby foods......I'm hoping this will help her get her weight back up as im struggling with her eating.  Most of the time now she won't part her lips ...not even for junk food.  Funny thing though is that kid loves her some Broccoli...wierd!
• She always blesses everyone who sneezes even strangers and should you dare not bless her back when she sneezes you are in for it! Last week I missed a bless you and she said, "AHEM, I sneezed."  I quickly tried to say bless you to her and she just rolled her eyes...OMG...my little girl is already rolling those eyes!

I can't wait to see what's to come in the future for my princess ....I fall more and more in love with her every day. She is my shining star!

Future MVP

Yes that's right watch out NY Yankees .....you have some very big fans over here in NJ and possible your next MVP (maybe in the 2030 season..LOL)

Almost 3 Months

To my sweet Antonio:  I feel like you were just born yesterday and I am so amazed that you are almost 3 months already.  I love you more than life and my love for you only grows with each passing day.  I promise I will always be here for you no matter what direction your life may take you.  I will try my best to lead you down the right paths and pray that you always keep God in your life as your guide.  May God bless and protect you my sweet baby angel.  I love you!

What to do?

Won't ya know I got a call from Fifi's nursery school this morning and aparently shes vomiting again.  During the week it also happened a few times off and on at my house and ever since the episode on Easter she hasn't really eaten anything.  She's also dropping pounds like crazy to the point where I'm extremely worried.  My little girly is tiny to begin with ever since she was born but now she looks malnourished and I feel like people are going to place blame like I don't feed my kid or something.

Take a guess what the effin pediatrician says today, "She's perfectly fine, give her some pedialyte and crackers......the secretary will collect your co-pay."  Are you kidding me?  I wish I was the one who took her to that appt. and not her Daddy.  UUUUMMMMMM hello doctor read between the lines......it is not normal for a 2 year to be completely lethargic for a week, vomiting, not eating, not drinking, not even a wet diaper! 

If shes not better by the time I get out of work we're heading to the hospital and finding a new pediatrician.

Five Question Friday #3

1. Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?

Ha....I guess I would say Nelly Furtado cuz I like her personality and music and so many people say we look alike ....I really don't see it but hey shes pretty to so I can't complain :)

2. Did you ever go to summer camp?

No I begged to go though and my parents said no it was too much money. On top of that I lived in Texas but near lots of woods so they used to tell me I lived at a summer camp...no need to pay for one...WTF...They sooooo missed the point!

3. What sends you running and screaming in the other direction?

I don't know I don't really have a phobia of anything...oh wait no....Spiders...I am in fact deathly afraid of those.  I will mysteriously grow wings and fly 30 feet in the air when I see one.

4. What is something you do that drives your spouse nuts?

OMG he freaks when I don't put the cordless phones back on the bases to charge...LOL I can't help it....I never put them back.

5. What is currently your favorite song?

Karma Hates Me!

So no Wordless Wednesday for today because frankly ........I have diahrrea of the mouth today and can't stop cursing.  As if our stint in the ER and bout with food poisoning wasn't enough,  I came home last night to disaster in the dreaded mailbox! 

First, a notice of cancellation on my insurance stating that I would be cancelled very soon because I did not disclose my fiance as living with me.  Hello.....I can't add him to my policy since he is insured by his job and uses only a company car....I have to handle that today....I'm sure they could care less!

Second (this is the worst part).....a warrant for my arrest because of an unpaid ticket for my car being unregistered.  The funny thing is when I got the ticket i had no clue my car wasn't registered since I never got the renewal notice in the mail.  I never got that notice because the DMV had my apartment number wrong.  I know I know, I should be aware of the date of expiration on the card in my car but who looks at that.  So anyways.....I renewed the registration and kept putting of the ticket and eventually forgot about it.  UNTIL LAST NIGHT! 

So i had to turn myself in ...luckily they only made me stay a little while and not all night and I had to pay $114.00 (gggggrrrrrrrr).  But I had to get booked and take a mug shot ...WTF!!!!!!!

As if that wasn't enough ....I blew a tire on the Garden State Parkway this morning on the way work. FML!

Easter was a Nightmare!

So for easter since we weren't going to anyones house to eat we decided to to take all the kids (my stepson included since he was in town) to the Palisades Park under the George Washington Bridge by NYC.  On the way there my 2 year old saw those horrible golden arches and started screaming for chicken nuggets (normally she doesn't get them).  My stepson also wanted them so I relented and got a 20 piece and a drink for them to share (big mistake and you will see why later.)  We all shared them even daddy has some.

We spent all day and had a great time at the park (will post pics later), however on the way home I got very nauseous. When we got home Alberto went to go work on his motorcycle in the garage and told me to call the cell if I needed him.  My daughter and stepson sat down in the living room to eat and I took the baby to my room. Well my son then started crying hysterically so I figured he was hungry .....but i was too sick to even give him a bottle.  I called Alberto's cell to tell him to come help me feed the baby because I knew I was going to vomit ....what do ya know ...he didn't answer.  At this point I tried to suck it up to give the baby the bottle and when I picked him up blood started pouring out of his nose.  Like any mother I freaked and called 911.  I was able to get through to Alberto finally and he ran in the house to get the baby and wait for the ambulance.  Meanwhile I was vomiting in the bathroom.  Then I ran outside too and rode in the ambulance to the ER.

note:  I was worried because I read Cora's Story and unfortunately that sweet baby did not make it due to a congenital heart defect in the baby.  Well on one of my ultrasounds when I was pregnant they saw something with the baby's heart so that was all I was thinking about.  I was praying to GOD not to take my child. Take me instead ...don't take my sweet baby angel.  I wish I could take away the pain for baby Cora's parents.  I can't even read that story without crying and for a moment I felt that helplessness of not being able to do anything.

So within a few minutes Alberto came to the ER in our car with the other kids.  By the time they were taking my son's blood I was vomiting so bad I couldn't be with him and his dad had to hold him.  Then my stepson started vomiting too. The worst thing is while I was in vomiting the nurses kept saying maybe I was pregnant again.  All I could think was, "WTH that's all I need right now!"

My son's blood tests came back fine and no abnormal bleeding anywhere they just said to keep an eye on him.  They also said most likely it was just a burst blood vessel since he was congested and with alot of sinus pressure.  Praise be to God !  We got home about 12:30 I believe but within a half and hour or so everyone in my house was with diahrrea (sorry if TMI) and vomiting like crazy.  I went through every sheet and blanket in my house and we all ended up sleeping on towels because there was nothing left....I know...gross!!!!  The entire day yesterday was a nightmare because everyone was up sick till 6 am.  It felt like a horrible hangover. Then my son woke up at 7 am and wouldn't nap all day.  I can't say I even want to have him sleeping because Im so nervous that he won't wake up.
As for everyone else vomiting....the doctor said it was most likely a case of food poisoning and the worst part was Alberto went to that McDonald's and they filed a repot and gave his money back.  They also said they would pay the doctor's visits however those dummies had the nerve to give us coupons too!!!! Like I would ever eat there again and sorry for the graphic nature of this comment but I would like to send a big F*&% U to the McDonald's on Route 46 in Little Falls!  Don't ever eat there if you are in the area!

Now I am back to work and I'm watching the clock till quittin time.  I feel like I got hit my a truck, but I'm more thankful that my little one is ok.  No amount of food poisoning can compare to the feeling of possible losing your child.  I wouldn't wish that on any parent.

Popsicle Party

Im super excited to start working on Sofia's 3rd Birthday since last year money was tight and we couldn't splurge on her.  I really wanted to give her a tinkerbell party or something really girly to make her feel like a princess but since she is now in nursery school I don't really want to invite boys from her class to a girly "princess" or "fairy" party.  So I have decided I am going to do a theme like Gymboree's "Popsicle Party" line. For the pics that will be on her invitation (which will of course be from 3 Little Flowers) I am going to make her a multicolored Tutu like the one below and I am of course going to get her a Tiara! (The Tutu of course will be in the same colors as the popsicle party line)

This is the dress she is going to wear the day of the party but I will gether one more outfit a little more comfy for playing too....and believe me the picture below doesn't do this dress justice....It's adorable in person!




And.....check these decorations I found over at Design Dazzle.  They are doing a giveaway right now so I'm praying I win but If not i will buy some of these gorgeous pom poms!!



I do need some game/entertainment ideas though so I am open to ideas from anyone :)  The venue is going to be a park that has a zoo, playground, and pony rides too!

Easter at School

Today Fifi got her first look at the Easter Bunny ....a walking talking pink bunny that came to visit her at school and who happened to tell my baby he was coming to her house on Sunday.  So that means mama can't skimp out since the little lasy is expecting her basket..Ha!

Anyway, during their Easter celebration at school they made their own bunny baskets and got lots of treats.  To bad Fifi's fever spiked again and her ear infection (didn't blog about this but yes she is with the worst ear infection for days!) was making her upset so I had to go get her.  Here are some pics of her showing mama her basket when we got home.

Five Question Friday #2

1. Do you sing out loud in the car when you're driving?

Always!!!! I love to be in denial that I'm American Idol material.  plus i love singing in the car because my little Fifi will sing along with me and even if she doesn't know a damn word it's still sooooooo cute!!

2. What would you never be caught doing?

Going #2 in someone else's....OMG I just can't get over this fear!

3. Will you go #2 in a public restroom?

Yes....if I absolutely have to!!! LOL ....so funny who thought of this question....its kinds wierd seeing as how my answer to question 2 was in regards to this.

4. Have you ever broken a bone?

I fractured two ribs in back near my spine falling down steps when I was 15 or 16.

5. Do you prefer cooking or baking?

Cooking hands down! DF and I have 6 year long competition going on in the kitchen.  We are always trying to out do eachother.
