Happy Birthday to My Dad

Tonight we went out to eat just me Alberto & Fifi since it was my Dad's birthday. Even though he is gone now i just wanted to do something on his birthday. We went to Arena Diner in Hackensack, NJ which was really good and while we were eating we talked alot about are dad's and all of the sudden the song "Dance with my Father" by Luther VanDross started playing......me and Alberto both love this song and we both got teary......if any of you haven't heard it here is the video ....soooo beautiful !

So I have been really down lately as things at home have been crazy and with my Dad passing. 1 year - having my business up and running

5 years - owning a home and having better credit, & maybe another baby ....or 2 :)

When I was a baby my dad taught me to wiggle my ears .....I haven't met many people who can do it either. My nickname (from my family) to this day is Kiki ........which came from my mom calling my funny name like Eriquiqui !!!!

My Daddy

I know probably none of you ever knew him so here is my Daddy:

My Daddy's Pic & Obituary

My Dad loved fishing, boating, drinking beer (LOL), he was an amazing cook, a gardener, he could build anything.....i dont think there was anything he couldn't do. He suffered from Parkinson's Disease which gave him a great amount of pain every day. Luckily I got to spend my birthday with him this year, and he still made me feel like Daddy's Little Girl ....he never let me pay for anything and i could see on his face he was so happy just to spoil me. I wish i could have spoiled him more. His birthday was coming up and i was supposed to go shopping this week for him. I just keep thinking Daddy willnever be able to walk me down the aisle and my baby has no grandpas left :(

We don't know for sure how he died but the Parkinson's did not kill him. It was about 9 pm and Daddy came in the house and he ate pizza. His wife went outside to get the Dog for a few minutes and when she came in the house my was slumped over on the coffee table .......the paramedics said it was very quick probably no pain because there was no signs of struggle. Everything on the coffee table was in place. They say it could've been a heart attack but more likely a blood clot to the brain. I just hope if it was a blood clot that it affected his nerves so that he didnt feel it. We are not doing an autopsy to find out for sure ...i dont need to know it wont make it better. My Dad will also not have a viewing it was in his will just to have a memorial. I had to make the decision whether or not to see him before he was cremated but i decided no. They told me it wouldnt be pretty as he wouldnt be made up like a funeral .....I couldnt let that be my last memory of Daddy.

Anyways I just wanted to share a little bit about my Dad with everyone.

Shock & Devastation

I am in utter shock right now and i cannot cry anymore...my eyes are dry .......My Daddy passed away on Friday night. He sifferend from Parkinsons Disease but that is not what killed him ....i will explain later. All i know is I am truly just devastated right now. But grateful that i got to spend my birthday in August with him and he got to see his grand-daughter before he went. Now my baby only has one grandparent left. I dont know why this happened all i know is that my papa didnt deserve this but i know he was in so much pain everyday. I just really hope he know how much i loved him and will miss him everyday .....please pray for my family espescially since we are unable to locate my brother ....all i know is that he is somewhere in Las Vegas. Hopefully we can find him soon.

As you can see "Cosita Mia" was the official favorite, but after many discussions with different people we think that a name in English would market to mare people ............soooooooo.............We have decided to make the poll just for fun and we officially announce the name we have chosen at a later date.
